WARP SPEED TO STOMP - SAT 22nd OCT
There was a young woman named Bright, Whose speed was much faster than light, She set out one day, In a relative way, And returned on the previous night !!
Fasten your seat belts for warp speed, seal all entrances and exits, close all shops in the mall, and secure all animals in the zoo.. because Saturday 22nd October will be the largest cosmic party with the combined force of all Science Fiction films put together !!
Stomp launch will commence 7pm with Complimentary Dance classes, and dancing from 8pm !!
Featuring:
- Live Band Big Boss Groove !!
- DJ'íng by Jumptown covering all dance styles.
- Our Latin room will be sponsored by Salsabor
- Prizes for best dressed

Cost $10 – all profits going to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation
One woman dies of ovarian cancer every 10 hours in Australia and there is currently no early detection test. Frocktober is raising funds to change all that and you can participate by coming to this frockingly fabulous dance party.
If dancing in dresses wasn’t enough to make a great night, there are some brilliant prizes up for grabs including:
- HP has donated an X-box, two photo printers and two leather compendiums
- Koko Black has donated a chocolate box
- Taliesin’s Muse (aka the fabulous Judy McClintock) has donated a gorgeous chainmaille bracelet.
- The Stomp has donated 2 tickets to Stomp Galactic Rebellion

- The Vitality Health Centre has donated a one hour massage

With everything from the venue, to the sound equipment donated for the night, you can be assured that every dollar on the night will go straight to this fantastic cause. Tickets will be available at the door on the night, so frock up and rock out because it’s a frockin’ good cause
WARNING TRAFFIC AND ROAD BLOCKS EXPECTED
On the same night at Stomp, there will also be the Nara Candle Festival in Nara Park. We have been informed that there will be road blocks leading to Albert Hall, however they have been requested to let you in so you can park in Albert Hall. We will also be opening more parking on the grass, however try to car pool, and expect road blocks.. but be persistent.. you are not the droids they are looking for !!
